According to reports Blackpool FC have made enquiries about Portsmouth FC about the availability of striker David Nugent.
Skysports.com claims Seasiders boss has contacted the south coast club about a possible move for the marksman.
Nugent has been heavily linked with a move away from Fratton Park despite boss Steve Cotterill stating he wants to keep him.
Nugent may welcome Holloway’s interest as a route back to the Premier League but Cotterill will be reluctant to lose him given his side is currently bottom of the Championship and short of players.
