Blackpool FC manager Ian Holloway was satisfied with his side’s battling draw at Preston North End.
Following a 1-1 draw between the local rivals at Bloomfield Road earlier in the season, the return fixture at Deepdale failed to produce a goal.
Brett Ormerod missed a good chance against his former club, and DJ Campbell also hit the crossbar, but Holloway was still satisfied with the outcome.
The Seasiders had lost their previous three league games, and Holloway said: "I stood there and thoroughly enjoyed our performance.
"I tried to say the right things before the game. I think it helped the boys.
"But the script was here for them to beat us and go above us and to be honest I didn't think they looked like doing it.
"We were missing Charlie Adam and I had to change the shape and structure of it.
"I was confident enough to do that and I thought my back four defended how they should do.
"My midfield was a little bit different with DJ there, they didn't get to grips with him."
He added: "I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day, I came here, the team got a police escort, I brought my wife and daughters and I didn't feel threatened. I walked around the ground with them.
"Northern people like their football and these two clubs epitomise that.
"Today I'm very proud of what we're trying to do and our supporters."
