Liverpool FC starlet seeking Blackpool FC loan extension

Shelvey has impressed during his loan spell

Blackpool loan star Jonjo Shelvey says he wants to extend his spell at the seaside until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old has impressed since arriving from Liverpool two months ago, notching 6 goals in 8 appearances.

The deal is set to expire at the end of December, but Shelvey told Vital Football: “Blackpool are a good team with good players and I have asked [Liverpool] if I can stay here for the season.”

“It is not that far from home and I think we could achieve something.”

“I am really enjoying it here, I want to play football. Obviously I want to break into the Liverpool first team, but I think playing at a good club is giving me the best chance of ultimately doing that.”
