Ian Holloway today revealed that members of his squad have refused to head out on loan in a bid to gain regular first-team football.
Writing in his Sunday Mirror column, the Seasiders boss said: "I discovered last week that it isn’t just Carlos Tevez who is getting too big for his boots.
"There are a couple of players at Blackpool, who I wanted to send out loan so they could get a taste of first-team football for a month or two.
"I couldn’t believe it when they both knocked on my office door – their agents in tow, of course – to tell me in no uncertain terms that they didn’t give a toss about what I thought was best for them and the football club. They advised me to stick my little plan where the sun don’t shine!
"People think that it’s only spoilt £250,000-a-week superstars like Tevez who’ve lost the plot. But it seems that the virus Tevez unleashed at Manchester City has already spread to the lower divisions."
