Blackpool are targetting a deal for Nottingham Forest striker Dexter Blackstock, according to talkSPORT.
The 25-year-old faces a battle to get back into Forest's first team following recovery from a long-term cruciate knee ligament injury suffered in November, coupled with the arrival of front pair Ishmael Miller and Matt Derbyshire.
Seasiders boss Ian Holloway wants further firepower up front despite adding natural born marksman Kevin Phillips to the ranks over the summer.
