Blackpool have had an undisclosed bid accepted for Manchester United striker Mame Biram Diouf.
The 23-year-old Senegalese international featured for Lancashire rivals Blackburn Rovers on a season-long loan last term, scoring three times in 26 appearances.
Diouf was initially signed by Sir Alex Ferguson in 2009 from Molde but has struggled to establish himself in the first team set-up at Old Trafford.
The Seasiders will be hoping to meet the striker's wage demands after a move for Newcastle United's Nile Ranger collapsed last week due to a failure to agree personal terms.
Birmingham City midfielder Barry Ferguson and Liverpool winger Gerardo Bruna are also expected to be unveiled as new signings early this week.
