Real Betis striker Pavone in talks with Blackburn Rovers

According to reports Real Betis striker Mariano Pavone is in negotiations with Blackburn Rovers.

The Daily Mail claims Rovers boss Steve Kean is interested in the Argentine marksman.

It is understood Rovers are holding talks with the 29-year-old.

Pavone has been on loan at River Plate and is available on a free transfer.

He had a penalty saved against Belgrano in a play-off which saw River Plate relegated.
