Blackburn Rovers midfielder Grella set for exit door

According to reports Blackburn Rovers are looking to offload midfielder Vince Grella this summer.

Rovers boss Steve Kean is eager to find a buyer for the Australian whose career in England has been marred by injury.

A return to Italy has been mooted, where the likes of Cagliari and Siena have been mentioned as potential destinations.

However, Aussie clubs are also being contacted about Grella's availability.

A return home to Melbourne could be on for Grella, where both Melbourne Victory and Melbourne Heart are yet to fill their marquee player slot for the new season.

Champions Brisbane Roar are also following developments, where coach Ang Postecoglou is a big fan of the combative midfielder.
