AS Monaco defender Cedric Mongongu is reportedly interesting Blackburn Rovers.
The Mirror claims Rovers boss Steve Kean is eyeing the Mongongu in a £2.6 million deal.
Mongongu was a member of the Monaco team that were relegated last season and it seems he is now keen to move to the Premier League.
Rovers stepped in for Mongongu ahead of West Brom and the proposed deal comes within their budget and leaves them with spare money to spend on other areas of the squad.
