According to reports Manchester City full-back Wayne Bridge is a target for Blackburn Rovers.

Bridge is expected to leave Eastlands given the arrival of Arsenal defender Gael Clichy.

The former England international spent last season on-loan at West Ham United and it seems he now has no future with the Blues.

It is believed Rovers are in the hunt for the 30-year-old left-back.

However, it seems they will also face competition from Newcastle United.

Bridge aint coming to NUFC. Pardew has said as much. He's too old and on too much money.
