According to reports Manchester City full-back Wayne Bridge is expected to leave Eastlands.

Bridge spent last season on-loan at West Ham United and it seems he is on his way out of City.

The Sun claims the arrival of Arsenal defender Gael Clichy is likely to hasten the exit of the ex-England star.

It is believed Blackburn Rovers are in the hunt for the 30-year-old left-back.

However, it seems Rovers boss will face competition from Newcastle United.
