According to reports Spurs have told Blackburn Rovers their valuation of striker Robbie Keane.

It is understood that Tottenham are demanding £5 million for the Irishman.

Keane was linked with Blackburn Rovers over the weekend as boss Steve Kean looks to bolster his squad in readiness for next season.

The Lancashire Telegraph claims sees Kean as a proven Premier League marksman who will help fire Rovers free of the relegation travails they endured last season.

It is believed that Rovers had a tentative £2 million bid rejected for the Republic of Ireland’s record goalscorer.

Robbie Keane is a class player and still a danger to score every game as attested by his international appearances. 5 mil is very reasonable
