According to reports Blackburn Rovers are interested in Rangers midfielder Maurice Edu.

talkSPORT claims Rovers boss Steve Kean is eyeing the USA international.

It is understood that Kean is looking to reinforce his midfield and sees Edu as an ideal addition.

The American was an integral part of the Rangers side that retained the Scottish Premier League crown last season.

Sounds too good to be true but then again Benjani got a new deal so, who knows maybe we'll get £3m or £4m for him ...

He only got a game because Rangers didn't have any other midfielders in a thin squad! Typical generalised football reporting. Any fee=DEAL!
