Blackburn Rovers make bid for Zenit St Petersburg defender

According to reports Blackburn Rovers have made an offer for Zenit St Petersburg full-back Aleksandr Anyukov.

Russian sources claim Rovers offered a lucrative contract to the 28-year-old right-back.

However, it is understood that Anyukov is happy at Zenit where he has a year left on his contract.

Rovers saw the versatile Anyukov as a replacement for Manchester United signing Phil Jones.

we need to get the likes of onuoha from city,should have sorted a loan deal for Phil jones to stay cause he wont start for 2 years at utd.
