According to reports Blackburn Rovers are to make a move for Roma striker Mirko Vucinic.

The Mirror claims Rovers boss Steve Kean is willing to match Juventus in the chase for the forward

However, a bidding war could push the asking price above £10 million which will be a huge chunk of Kean’s transfer kitty.

The sale of Phil Jones to Manchester United appears to have given him the funds to fight Juve for the striker’s signature

The Scot is believed to have been tracking Vucinic for some time and it is reckoned Tottenham are also watching developments.
