Blackburn Rovers are reportedly battling Manchester City for Lens defender Serge Aurier.
It is understood that the French club are offering Aurier for around €5 million following their relegation last season.
It is believed that both City and Rovers have been in contact about a possible move for the youngster.
Both clubs have something to offer Aurier. If he chooses City he has the prospect of playing Champions League football next season but a fight in his hands to break into the first team.
A move to Rovers would give him a far better chance of regular first team action.
