Blackburn Rovers rival Stoke City and Wolves for Reading defender

According to reports Blackburn Rovers are interested in Reading defender Matt Mills.

However, it is understood Rovers boss Steve Kean will face competition from his Stoke City counterpart Tony Pulis for the Royals captain’s signature.

Reading appear resigned to losing their skipper after they lost to Swansea City in the Championship play-off final.

Wolves are also believed to have tabled a £4 million bid for the 24-year-old who has spent just two seasons at the Madejski Stadium.
