Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean braced for record spending spree

According to reports Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean will be able to splash the cash this summer.

In recent years money has been tight at Ewood Park, a situation that frustrated former boss Sam Allardyce.

The Lancashire Telegraph claims new owners, Venky’s, have promised Kean he can spend all the money he receives from sales on new players.

It is understood that the Scot has been discussing transfer targets with the owners since the end of last season.

It is believed that Kean’s transfer kitty could be around £30 million.
