Blackburn Rovers want top-dollar for Arsenal and Tottenham target Samba

According to reports it is now more a matter when, and not if, Blackburn Rovers sell defender Christopher Samba.

The Lancashire Telegraph claims Rovers are readying themselves for bids for the imposing Congolese defender who appears to be considering his options.

It is understood that boss Steve Kean will not stand in his way should he want to move to a bigger club.

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are both reckoned to be fighting for the centre-back’s signature.

However, owners Venky’s are believed to be determined to ensure whoever comes in for Samba pays the right money before they will sanction the deal.
