Manchester United youngster Mame Biram Diouf believes Blackburn Rovers is exactly where he needs to be at this stage of his football career.

He has insisted that he is more concerned about helping the Rovers cause than proving a point to Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

The 22-year-old signed on a season-long loan from the Red Devils and has found the net four times in his last two games.

He told the Lancashire Telegraph: “Being here at Blackburn been quite good for me.

“I’m just trying to enjoy it as much as I can.

“I have made the right decision coming here.

“It was a good thing for me to come here because the only thing I wanted to play games, so as long as I’m playing it’s good.

“For me it’s not about getting attention from United now. It’s about working hard for the team I’m playing for.

“Now I’m playing for Blackburn so I have to give my best here.

“I will be focused on Blackburn now and we will see after.”
