Pascal Chimbonda set to delay Blackburn Rovers contract talks

According to reports Pascal Chimbonda may hold off contract negotiations with Blackburn Rovers until the next transfer window in January.

talkSPORT claims Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is believed to be keen on tying down the full-back after moves were made in the summer by West Ham United.

The Hammers spoke to Chimbonda on transfer deadline day but the deal fell through.

And it is understood that the 31-year-old is considering delaying contract talks until January when he would be free to talk to other clubs and assess his options.
