The Daily Mail claims the ‘due diligence’ process undertaken to investigate financial soundness of Ali Syed is expected to completed this week.
The businessman is proposing £300 million takeover of Rovers this week, but there have been allegations of several unpaid debts in the UK.
A BBC report claims Syed left unpaid debt in England between 2001 and 2005.
