Blackburn Rovers are not expected to make Jason Roberts available on loan this season.
The loan transfer window re-opens for Football League clubs but it is understood Rovers are unlikely to consider letting Roberts go.
Roberts told the Lancashire Telegraph: “I have no clue what will happen. Obviously I haven’t spoken to the manager yet because we haven’t trained since the close of the window.
“I am a Blackburn Rovers player and I have always been available for selection and will continue to be.
“My job is to play football, I have a contract to do so and have done that at Blackburn Rovers for the last four years.
"Nothing will change as far as I am concerned.”
