According to reports businessman Ahsan Ali Syed is facing competition to buy Blackburn Rovers.

The People claims Rovers have been approached by a London-based firm representing another ‘Asian’ group who want to take control of the club.

Despite having given Indian investor Syed exclusive rights to peruse the club’s accounts, Rovers could now be the subject of a bidding war.

The Ewood Park club is available at a low price and, as opposed to other clubs looking for investment, has the added attraction of low debts.
