Blackburn Rovers defender Zurab Khizanishvili has decided not to make a move to Turkey.

The Lancashire Telegraph says Khizanishvili is keen to remain in England after turning down a move to an unnamed Turkish outfit.

Khizanishvili has failed to make an impression during boss Sam Allardyce’s tenure and so is unlikely to feature at Ewood Park this campaign.

Allardyce has publicly urged the Georgian to look elsewhere but with one season left on his contract the defender is hopeful he will attract interest closer to home.
