According to reports Blackburn Rovers are interested in young Bayern Munich striker Deniz Yilmaz.
The 22-year-old is finding it tough to break into Bayern’s first team and the club have made no promises that this coming season will be any different.
Yilmaz said: “They told me that it is hard for me to get into the first team.
“My wish is that Bayern do not obstruct my path in trying to play at a higher level.”
Rovers are said to be facing competition from Newcastle United and Stoke City.
Yilmaz has scored 27 goals in 88 appearances for Bayern’s reserves since 2007.
