Blackburn Rovers defender eyes Russian move

According to reports Blackburn Rovers defender Zurab Khizanishvili is preparing to leave Ewood Park.

Khizanishvili is understood to be in talks about a move to Russian club Anzhi.

Rovers boss has told the defender that he is not in his plans for next season and is therefore free to leave for nothing.

The 28-year-old had stints on loan at Newcastle United and Reading last season after falling out of favour at Ewood Park.
