According to reports Aston Villa are prepared to slash their asking price for Nigel Reo-Coker.

The People claims Blackburn Rovers are interested but were put off by the original £4.5 million price tag.

However, the paper understands Villa will sell Reo-Coker for a cut-price £1 million.

It is believed the likes of local rivals Bolton Wanderers and West Ham United are also interested the former England Under-21 captain.

It seems Reo-Coker wants to quit Aston Villa now rather than let his contract run for a final season and leave for nothing.
