According to reports Blackburn Rovers is close to being sold to an Indian entrepreneur.

Saurin Shah, who is the nephew of IPL vice-chairman Niranjan Shah and has links to the Premier League, is reported to be in negotiations about a deal worth up to £45 million for the club.

The AFP news agency understands that the businessman is already poring over Rovers' accounts as part of the due diligence process.
