According to reports Blackburn Rovers defender Phil Jones has emerged as a target for Tottenham Hotspur.
The People claims Jones' impressive performances last season has brought him to the attention of several leading clubs including Arsenal and Liverpool.
Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is confident he can hang on to Jones in the short term with the promise of regular first-team football.
But it seems Spurs could test his resolve with a bid and may be willing to loan the England Under-19 player back to Rovers for the rest of next season.
