Blackburn Rovers are reported to be eyeing former West Ham United striker Ilan.

The People claims Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is interested in bringing the marksman to Ewood Park to help alleviate his strikeforce problems.

Ilan would be a tempting option, especially if he is not given any cash to splash out on a striker while the club awaits a decision as to whether new owners will be in place and when.

The striker could be invited to Rovers on trial to prove his fitness.
