Blackburn Rovers are reportedly interested in Bolton Wanderers star Matt Taylor.
Taylor struggled to command a fist-team place at the Reebok last season following the arrival of boss Owen Coyle.
The arrival of Martin Petrov from Manchester City on a free transfer has also cast doubt on his future at the club.
Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is thought to be a big admirer of the midfielder along with his Everton counterpart David Moyes.
Allardyce and Moyes are keen to bolster their squads and they could make a move for versatile Taylor if Wanderers agree to let him go.
Taylor could be tempted by a move if he feels opportunities will be limited at the Reebok.
