Blackburn Rovers midfielder Vince Grella believes they should adopt the same approach they used against Liverpool FC in their upcoming games against Chelsea FC, Manchester United and Arsenal FC.
Grella, who came on as a second-half substitute at Anfield, feels Allardyce's team acquitted themselves well against the Reds and does not see why they should not play the same way against the rest of the Big Four.
"I've played football in Italy for a long time and to be labelled a long-ball specialist was a little bit offensive," Grella told the Lancashire Telegraph.
"But it's part of football. You've got to have thick skin.
"I'm a little bit disappointed. I thought we had a great game against Liverpool.
"I've seen it in Liverpool's players' eyes that it was a tough game for them and they couldn't wait for the final whistle.
"We played a good game. I think we gave away that goal just before half-time that let us down a little bit but it was a good performance by the team.
