Blackburn Rovers midfielder Steven Reid has joined Championship title-chasers West Brom on a month's loan.
29-year-old Reid has found life difficult at Ewood Park but he is expected to be in contention for a starting place for West Brom’s clash with QPR on Saturday.
Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo believes Reid is the player he has been looking for.
Speaking on the club's official website: "Steven is an exciting player and I'm delighted to welcome him to the club.
"We've been looking to strengthen our squad for the final push and Steven certainly fits the bill. He's a versatile player with loads of experience.
“We've had some great references about Steven so hopefully he'll perform at the level we expect him to."
