It is reported that Blackburn Rovers are in talks with Lens for striker Aruna Dindane.

The Ivory Coast international is currently playing on-loan with Portsmouth from the Ligue 1 outfit.

The Daily Mail claims Rovers are now speaking to Dindane after his move to Birmingham fell through.

The Ivory Coast striker fears he will be stranded without a club when the transfer window shuts next week because of Portsmouth’s financial problems and admits he has no idea where his future lies.

“I am in limbo,' he said. 'I do not know where I will be playing. I am frustrated and worried by the situation.

“It is a time when my football is so important. All I want to do is focus on my football but this has been a distraction throughout the Africa Cup of Nations. I do not want it to go on.”
