Blackburn v Stoke: Match Preview

Blackburn look to continue their good home form against The Potters but will again be without boss Sam Allardyce who is recovering from a heart operation.

Blackburn come into the game looking to shrug off their midweek defeat at Fulham, and their home record this season is very good.

Since losing to Manchester City on the opening day they won four and drawn one.

Stoke City could move into the top six if they win.

Rovers assistant manager Neil McDonald could make a couple of changes.

Gael Givet appears to have overcome a thigh injury problem to replace Lars Jacobsen. Brett Emerton is also fit to return.

Blackburn Robinson, Chimbonda, Nelsen, Samba, Givet, Dunn, Grella, Diouf, Andrews, Roberts, Di Santo

Stoke Sorensen, Huth, Collins, Abdoulaye Faye, Shawcross, Delap, Etherington, Whitehead, Whelan, Fuller, Beattie
