Blackburn Rovers boss Kean to hold talks with rebel Samba

Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean has revealed that he will speak with his want-away captain Chris Samba.

Kean is hoping he can convince Samba to make himself available for selection with the transfer market now closed.

The 27-year-old Congo international has been pushing for a move for several weeks.

Kean said: "We want him to get his head round the fact that he's going to be here.

“It may take a few days."
