Spurs swoop for Blackburn Rovers defender Nelsen

Blackburn Rovers centre-back Ryan Nelsen has joined Tottenham Hotspur.

It is understood that Rovers have cancelled the contract of the veteran Kiwi.

The New Zealand international is now on his way to White Hart Lane, after the transfer deadline passed.

As Nelsen is now a free agent, Spurs do not need rush his medical.
