Queens Park Rangers boss Mark Hughes has confirmed he will not continue his pursuit of Blackburn Rovers defender Chris Samba.
Rangers bid recently for the 27-year old Congo centre-back after he handed in a transfer request.
However, Rovers are adamant that they do not want to sell.
Hughes said: "Unfortunately I don't give you many clues, but I will try and steer you in the right direction - maybe [thinking we will sign Samba] is the wrong direction to go."
