Championship club Reading have signed Jason Roberts from Blackburn Rovers.
The 34-year old striker has signed an 18-month contract with the Royals but the terms of the transfer remain undisclosed.
Reading chairman Sir John Madejski welcomed the former Bristol Rovers, West Bromwich Albion and Wigan Athletic marksman.
"I am delighted that a man of Jason Roberts' calibre has decided to sign for Reading Football Club,” Madejski told the club’s official website.
"He will bring enormous experience to the club, and I wish him every success in helping his new teammates."
