Blackburn Rovers target Groningen duo

According to reports Blackburn Rovers are interested in two of Groningen’s squad.

Blackburn Rovers scouts were believed to be in Holland last weekend watching the club’s clash with Heracles Almelo.

Groningen defender Virgil van Dijk and winger Dusan Tadic are both understood to be targets of Rovers boss Steve Kean.

Groningen chief Hans Nijland has confirmed "an army of scouts" attended the game, but it seems he is not concerned about losing any of his players.
