Wigan Athletic are set to make a move for Manchester United striker Mame Biram Diouf.

Latics boss Roberto Martinez is keen on the Senegalese and is expected to step up his pursuit.

Martinez is now eyeing the youngster after being turned down by Bristol City striker Nicky Maynard.

United are willing to loan out Diouf, who impressed last season during a spell at Blackburn Rovers.
