Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean has sung the praises of his new loan signing, Bordeaux striker Anthony Modeste.
Modeste struck 10 goals in 37 Ligue 1 games in the 2010-11 campaign for Les Girondins and has scored three in 15 appearances during the current season.
"He's an attacking player who very much likes to play on the shoulder of central defenders," Kean told Blackburn Rovers TV.
"He's got pace, he's got power, and he is technically very good. He can get a goal and he can link the play, so I think he's an exciting player. Like most French players he has got good technical ability and he can play with his head up.
"He knows Steven Nzonzi very well, and Steven can help settle him in. If we can get (the international clearance) done, there is no reason why he can't be involved this weekend."
