AZ Alkmaar ace Holman aware of Blackburn Rovers transfer talk

Australian international Brett Holman has revealed that he has heard the rumours linking him with a number of Premier League clubs.

The AZ Alkmaar attacking midfielder has reportedly attracted interest from the likes of Blackburn Rovers, Aston Villa and Fulham.

However, Holman has stressed that his representatives have not as yet received approaches.

"Right now the clubs being mentioned as being interested are just rumour and speculation”, Holman told The World Game.

“There’s been plenty of talk in the media about where I might go but there has been nothing official come my way yet.

“After January I can sign a pre-contract if somebody comes in and that’s positive proof that a club wants you.

“In the meantime, the club is in a great position and I have the chance to go out on a high here.

"We are still in the Europa League, the Dutch Cup and also top of the league, so hopefully we can press on a repeat in the second half of the season what we accomplished before Christmas.”
