According to reports Christopher Samba is ready to force the issue as he looks to secure a move away from Blackburn Rovers.

The Daily Mail claims Samba will consider going on strike if Rovers try to keep him at Ewood Park.

Samba did not attend training on Friday claiming he was suffering from a stomach bug.

Rovers have already rejected a £6.5 million bid from QPR, a figure Samba believes is reasonable given he only cost £450,000 when he moved from Hertha Berlin five years ago.

Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur have also shown interest in the Congo centre-back.
