New Queens Park Rangers boss Mark Hughes has revealed he is chasing Blackburn Rovers defender Christopher Samba.
It was understood that Rangers were eyeing the centre-back before Hughes’ arrival at Loftus Road.
Speaking after his side’s defeat at Newcastle United, his first game in charge of the club, Hughes confirmed that a bid has been lodged.
He said: "It's common knowledge we've put in a bid for Chris Samba.
“We have a number of players we would like to bring to the club. We'll have to wait and see."
