Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean has conceded he is struggling to make headway in the winter transfer market.
It is unclear how much money Kean has to play with this month, but matters will have hardly been helped by Barclays asking for £10 million of the club's overdraft to be paid back.
Kean said: "It's slow everywhere but we've been very, very busy over the last eight or nine days. Clubs are deciding to be slow in responding.
"We're actively trying to improve the areas I think need improving and I'm confident we'll get people in."
