According to reports Blackburn Rovers are interested in Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson.

The Sun claims Rovers boss Steve Kean is eyeing the Republic of Ireland midfielder.

It is understood that Kean is looking to bring Gibson to Ewood Park on a loan deal.

The 23-year-old midfielder turned down a move to Sunderland in June.
