Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean has revealed he has received a number of enquiries about his players.

However, he has insisted he is under no pressure to sell defender Christopher Samba.

Their influential defender linked with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur despite only signing a new five-year contract at Ewood last season.

Kean, however, insisted: "There have been phone calls for seven or eight of our players, from clubs asking to be kept in the picture if they become available.

"But showing an interest in a player and actually bidding is a totally different thing. We have not had any bids for Chris Samba. There has been interest in all the lads who did well last season, including Rubén Rochina, but there have been no bids for any of them."
