According to reports Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson is interesting Blackburn Rovers.
The Republic of Ireland international was not in Sir Alex Ferguson’s squad for the Community Shield on Sunday.
It is understood that Gibson could move to Ewood Park in search of more first-team football.
The 23-year-old was set to move to follow United teammates John O’Shea and Wes Brown to Sunderland earlier in the summer, but the switch fell through after the Black Cats allegedly tried to change their offer.
